Although India is one of the biodiversity-rich countries in the world, the diversity is poorly documented. The last decade has seen a large influx of nature enthusiast visiting various forest to understand the biodiversity. There are enough resources on larger life forms but the lesser life forms, which are equally important, are comparatively poorly studied or documented. One of the biggest hurdles is the lack of resources.
We wish to bridge this gap not only by reaching out to interested people but actively involving them in long-term conservation initiatives.
This is the first initiative in this regard. This two nights, three days’ action-packed program will have various field outings and classroom sessions. The locality selected for this activity will provide ample opportunities to observe various life forms in their natural condition. And the associated interactions with the respective experts in these groups will be an additional bonus.
